// BJUOct

New bit of drawering, influenced by watching Disney's Fireball; yes i know, i said Disney, but this ones Japanese so it's allowed; find it on YouBoob.

The roboteen started as a sketch, then as usual popped into Illustrator for a redraw and some added graphic shizzle.

Then came a visit to The Faversham in Leeds for the latest episode of Best Joined Up, I took a printout, pencils, rulers, compassessess and a Hbomb down and set to work copying it onto an eight foot long canvas.

Five hours later, it got as finished as it would get. Cheers to BJUBodie for setting me up a canvas and letting me draw. Hugs all round to HBomb Carter for helping me colour the big black bits and telling me if I went wrong with the pencils, wouldn't have got it finished without you, Slinky.

// H30 Munny

After the discovery of laser printed wet decal sheets, I came across the idea of dusting down one of the custom Munnys that was sitting idly about the house.

What better reason for putting the two together than the fact it was HBomb's 30th birthday...

Started out with some mock-ups in Illustrator, I haven't posted all of the mock-ups i did, might save some non used ideas for Munny No2/Blank Teddy Trooper...

// Don't Panic // POW! Toytle

These blogs shalt not come in any particular order; as usual i'm late, this time by about four months, which may be a personal best.

This is from the 8th of June at Soyo Sheffield, decided to grow some bollocks and do a live drawing at a live drawing, music and booze event.

Started off about a week earlier with a little sketch which then got scanned into Illustrator for some vector love and font inclusion, this is how it came out...

At the gig itself i learnt that the meelion green Pantone pens I'd bought wouldn't work proper on the painted boards provided, so nicked some big fat black markers from BJU Bodie and got to improvising. This is how it went:

Drawing next to people who can draw better :P Outlines pretty much done.

S'me, colouring in.

Final and completed Toytle, chuffed it came out pretty well for a first go and a lack of non-digital penskills. Maybe next time i'll draw it out first to fit better on a portrait canvas rather than do a landscape image and fit it on. And just make it black and white. Turd.

// Pinky Street

Found a couple of seemingly rare Hobby Japan Pink Street kits offa Ebay a while back and finally got round to finishing them off.

All in all, it was a craft session of epic proportions:

My Pinky out of the box

HBomb's Pinky out of the box

All parts dutifully sanded down to remove flash marks and stuck onto wood sticks with blutack ready for spraying with Tamiya Color white acrylic.

Painted up with Tamiya Colour Acrylic and accessorized; HBombs Pinky is holding a repainted 'Things that Hurt' Zipper pull, Mine's armed with a Gundam castoff :)
