// Gundam Poster

New bit of artwork, obviously I'm still on a Gundam geekout.

Wanted to play with a stencil style image, see wharrappened.

This one has poster potential:

This one is desktop style:

// Helvetica 95 Black

Here's some artwork i did a little while ago that's just been sitting in a folder wondering if it's finished or not.

After watching the Helvetica film I was inspired to try and track the rise of one of the worlds greatest fonts via the medium of a 3 spot A2 poster. Never got to the print stage yet, but thought i'd upload it.

I call it my map of Helvetica, it tracks the different weight branches of Helvetica along a vertical timeline.

Long may we [heart] Helvetica

//Birthday Robots

Robots I done for a couple of friends.
:)

//Gundam Heads

This one is an ongoing project (like the majority of my unfinished projects). I'm journaling my collection of built Gundam through poster artwork (which at this stage are more like desktop pictures as i needed a nice shiny desktop image for my noo iPad (yum!).

As a body of work the style will develop as i work on more of them, as i want them all to come together nicely as a set.

It's always interesting to see how these things change :) For now, this is version 0.1.

//VooDools

Another nugget out of the locker. Little voodoo dolls doodles.

Haven't done a thing with these, but kinda like them.

//minno

Piece I done for a BJU Doodlejam I never got to attend due to work commitments.

It's in the locker for the future. I used less text on this so I could spend more time drawing each letter.

// BJUOct

New bit of drawering, influenced by watching Disney's Fireball; yes i know, i said Disney, but this ones Japanese so it's allowed; find it on YouBoob.

The roboteen started as a sketch, then as usual popped into Illustrator for a redraw and some added graphic shizzle.

Then came a visit to The Faversham in Leeds for the latest episode of Best Joined Up, I took a printout, pencils, rulers, compassessess and a Hbomb down and set to work copying it onto an eight foot long canvas.

Five hours later, it got as finished as it would get. Cheers to BJUBodie for setting me up a canvas and letting me draw. Hugs all round to HBomb Carter for helping me colour the big black bits and telling me if I went wrong with the pencils, wouldn't have got it finished without you, Slinky.
